Denver Health Buys Excel Building

According to a recent Denver Post announcement, Denver Health has purchased the Excel Building west of the Metro Lofts. It will be used as the poison center (gasp!) and also for data processing. Excel will rent back a portion of the building to continue its telephone/data operation. So, it appears that the owners of La Rhumba will not be buying the building and have been foiled once again. Can you imagine hip hop night on all four floors and in the parking lot?
